Hi!

My name is Marc and I am a predoctoral researcher at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (Spain). I am working at the Center for Brain and Cognition supervised by prof. Núria Sebastián-Gallés (Speech Acquisition and Perception Group).

I am interested in the development of the mechanisms that underlie human social interactions. How infants generate expectations about others' actions and how they selectively interact, affiliate and learn from other individuals. Specifically, I study the perception of actions that involve teleological reasoning or mindreading, and how the infants' processing of others' actions is influenced by factors such as the language with which others speak, as a marker of group membership.

For that purpose, I use EEG (time-frequency analysis) and EyeTracker techniques, and behavioural measures such as the total time infants spend looking at the screen.

If you have any doubt you can contact me at marc.colomer@upf.edu!
